The California Writers Club of Long Beach is one of 22 branches
the state organization. The Long Beach Branch is open to professional and aspiring writers and non-writing literary experts. At our monthly meetings, members have the opportunity to meet authors, agents, editors, and publishers and to acquire current techniques and information for the crafting and marketing of their work. The Club offers professional networking, mentoring and a variety of educational programs to its members. We facilitate the exchange of ideas among authors and provide inspiration through the camaraderie of fellow writers.

New Membership: $65.
If joining after January 1 (January through March), half-year initial dues are $42.50.
Both amounts include a one-time processing fee of $20 to the state organization.
Renewal: $45 per year. Covid-19 discount of $10, making renewal this year $35. Renewals are payable as of July 1 of each year and overdue as of September 1. There is a $20 reinstate fee if not received before September 15. PLEASE SEE PAYPAL BUTTON FOR RENEWALS ONLY (not for those just joining).
Active membership status is open to writers who have been traditionally published or have self-published a book. Associate member status is open to aspiring writers working to hone their craft. Publication is not a requirement for membership. The fee is the same.
