Who We are

CWC members write novels, short stories, screen plays , poetry, nonfiction articles, books and more. More than half of our members  are published.

 

We are a 501(c)(6) nonprofit and one of 22 branches in the state. Our state organization is a 501(c)(3) and that website is www.calwriters.org

 

 
Our free in-person meetings take place second Saturdays at
Los Altos United Methodist Church
5950 E. Willow St. (at Woodruff).
Check in at the community room (Heritage Hall).
NOTE: THE OCTOBER 14 MEETING and program begins an hour later than usual,
with check-in at 3:30 and speaker program 4:00-6:00
Parking in two lots on the church campus, and also along the curb in front.

"My Journey To Publishing, No Luck Involved"

 

For many years, Cristina has envisioned a series of medical thrillers infused with realistic clinical details and cutting-edge science. Her novels combine her two great lifelong passions: medicine and writing.  Practicing as Dr. Cristina Rizza, Cristina has been practicing Internal Medicine and Cardiology in southern California for more than 30 years.
