Gayle Carline

"What's the Point? Story, Subtext and Plot."

GAYLE CARLINE is the award-winning author of the Peri Minneopa Mystery series, as well as a weekly columnist for the Placentia News-Times. When she’s not writing, she teaches workshops at conferences about writing and publishing.

In this post-pandemic time,  we are testing hybrid (in-person and Zoom)
meetings.  In-person attendance for members is by reservation only.
Our in-person meetings are open to visitors who request a seat in advance, or request a Zoom link, for a specific month. Make a request at info@calwriterslongbeach.org by the first of the month  of the second Saturday monthly program you wish to attend in person or on Zoom.
(Seating is limited. First come, first served.)

All members, and visitors by request (as stated above), will receive a Zoom link by email

for specific monthly meetings.

Many of our speakers also invite followers via Zoom on their social media.

If you are interested in joining our organization,
please see the Contact page and Application tab.
