Wendy Thomas Russell founded Brown Bag Press, an indie publishing company in Long Beach. She is an award-winning journalist, author and editor. For ten years, she covered criminal justice and special projects for the Long Beach Press-Telegram, receiving dozens of awards and honors.

Eric "Kata" Schuyler is a Certified Ghostwriter and book-production expert with Wambtac Communications, LLC who specializes in formatting-and-layout industry standards and best practices. He teaches Microsoft Word for Writers through Ghostwriter Professional Designation Program at Cal State Long Beach’s College of Professional and International Education and provides guided self-publishing as a principal at Iridescent Orange Press. Past projects include science fiction, wellness, coffee-table books, elder care, business books, and other nonfiction.

Laura Brennan has an eclectic writing career that includes television, film, theater, web series, fiction, and news. Behind the scenes, she has helped production companies develop movies, TV pilots, and limited series. A graduate of Yale University, she has taught pitching workshops at several MFA programs and universities.

Elaine Ash is the former editor-at-large for Beat to a Pulp e-zine, and worked directly with writers of all genres to develop short stories for publicatin. Currently she works with private clients, helping them shape manuscrits, acquire agents and land publishing deals. As a novelist she writes under the pen name "Anonymous-9."
