Alan Rifkin

"Co-Writing Nonfiction (creating a folk-rock memoir)"

Rifkin is co-author -- with Jerry Burgan of the iconic '60s musical group We Five (best known for "You Were on My Mind") -- of the memoir Wounds To Bind. It covers Burgan's life in music, the group, and how folk rock bridged the sounds of Peter Paul and Mary and the Jefferson Airplane. Rifkin has written for publications such as Los Angeles Times Magazine and Details. His collection of short stories, Signal Hill, was a  finalist for the Southern California Booksellers Association Award in fiction.
